About Jay Garland

Jay joined Damon Gettier and Associates, Realtors in 2016 after buying and selling
homes through DGA. He appreciated that he was able to communicate with his
realtors during the entire process and have questions answered in a timely
manner. His favorite aspect of DGA is the “family and team” atmosphere which
convinced him to join the DGA team!
Jay has called Roanoke home since 2009 and has lived all over the East Coast from
New England to Florida.

He met and married his wife in Roanoke and was blessed last year with a son who
completed his world. Jay loves the Roanoke Valley and loves helping people to
find their perfect home.

During his free time, Jay enjoys attending church, watching movies, and working
on his home and in his yard. He supports his community by volunteering at
Habitat for Humanity, local food banks, and donating to the women’s and
children’s shelter.
